Vermicompost influence on production of Ocimum basilicum L. seedlings

Abstract

In the current paper are presented the results obtained regarding the influence of vermicompost on production of basil seedlings, Ocimum basilicum L. Research took place at UASVMIaşi, Romania, in 2018. Experiences were organized in four variants represented by participation rate of vermicompost in substrate together with garden soil, respectively 0% (V1), 10% (V2), 20% (V3) and30 % (V4). Seedlings with the best quality were obtained at a rate of 30% vermicompost in substrate(V4).
