For the white wines, especially for the authentic semiaromatic and aromatic varieties, the intensity and complexity of the wine flavor represents a factor with a decisive influence over the next steps of tasting and/or consumption. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the influence of the various winemaking technologies and oenological products on the quality, diversity and complexity of the sensorial characteristics of the wines obtained from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Golul Drâncei – Mehedinţi wine center using sensorial analysis. The Sauvignon Blanc wines obtained usind different winemaking technologies have been sensorially analyzed by authorised winetasters using specialised and adapted winetasting sheets for different and specific sensorial descriptors. The results have proven that some winemaking techniques and some oenological materials like selected yeasts significantly influence the wine flavour, increasing even its tipicity.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , The influence of organic fertilizers on the quality of the main harvest concerning the ecologically cropped corn(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Simion, Enuță; Simion, Denisa; Miron, Liliana; Enache, GeorgicaThe ecological agriculture is one of the most efficient among the modern techniques of cultivation as alternatives to the present industrial agriculture and has its grounds in the responsible managing of soils. This method is the warrant for long term high production with important nutrition facts for the humankind. What follows is an attempt to create a global perspective of the protein, starch and fat accumulation, depending on whether organic fertilizers have been involved in production. We would like to mention that extending the results of such research cannot be accomplished without taking into consideration their explicit stagnant characteristics, which is determined by the nature of the climate and agro technical conditions that have enabled these results. The starch, protein and fat content of corn grains vary pending on genetic factors, vegetation conditions and the technology involved. In addition, the data we have collected demonstrate the fact that both the production growth and the grain composition vary depending on the nature of the organic fertilizer that has been used. Manure and compost have increased the protein content in parallel proportion with the amount used in the process. Therefore, for the option 25 tones per hectare, the protein content was with 0.5 percent bigger than the one obtained using 15 tones per hectare. When the compost concentration was created using a dosage of 25 tones per hectare, the gain was 0.3 percent protein as opposed to the concentration of 15 tones per hectare. In the case of the green fertilizer variant, the protein content was higher, meaning 8 percent, due to the positive influence of the nitrogen remains of vetch. The starch content has moved to and fro in opposed relation to the protein content and has registered values between 63.2 and 66.3 percent. Even under the influence of the organic fertilizers, the fat content of the corn grains hasn’t listed relevant increase. This lack of alteration in the fat content is explained by some feature of organic fertilizers to maintain an almost steady relation between the growth of the endosperm and the embryo (the organ where the fat is accumulated), through providing most favorable conditions for the physiological processes taking place in the plant.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Increase efficiency issues in agricultural area farms mountain by implementing tourism(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Ungureanu, George; Brezuleanu, Stejărel; Boghiță, EduardToday we cannot talk about one agricultural household economy, which are based just on agriculture. The diversification process and integration of more economic branch give essential change in agricultural household economy structure in the life of the rural and the habitants of this. Among a lot of activities that are presented now in mountain region of Romania one important role and with expansion tendency are represented by Agri-tourism activity. Also, agri-tourism activity has become a new type of agricultural management in rural, which helps farmers break through current management difficulties for medium size farms. The goal of the study is to calculate the economic possibility for development of agricultural households from mountain region in Romania. They can develop by increasing farm size or by introducing new activity (e.g. agri-tourism). Last possibilities will be analyzed in this study. The initiation of agro tourism activity at one pension implied assimilation of new knowledge regarding a new domain, the family accumulation, during the process, professional experience in other areas than agriculture or leather manufacture (already known and exploited). This was the framework of knowledge and communication is emphasized and other ways, a favorable image to the area. Agri-tourism is special, nothing compares with all the possibilities given and the content after such a trip. You will come back to the authentic vibe and the friendly hosts. The accommodation is made in agro touristic pensions with a capacity of maximum 20 rooms, this means that the population from a particular accommodation unit is not too numerous, offering the chance of making new relations, friends. Agri-tourism offers different possibilities of entertainment, more than in urban area. I enjoy everything connected to the touristic arrangement because it involves a thorough research of an area and a lot of imagination. I consider tourism an extremely beneficial activity for the tourists who can relax and forget tha daily stress and worries and also for the service performers in this field who obtain economic advantages.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , The role of university research entities in increasing university scientific research performance(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Toma, Cristian-MariusUniversities represent important components of the national systems of research, development and innovation (RDI), ranging among the factors with a high research potential (Brătianu C. Ş. and others, 2007). The research activity in the universities involves firstly the teachers, but also the students, the PhD students and other categories of staff, while their scientific research is governed by the national laws and internal regulations. The increase in the role of research, development and innovation, in the present-day context of a society in development, characterized by quick rhythms of change, fierce competition, globalization and other phenomena with visible effects on the quality of the economic and social life, has required the development of the scientific and technological potential of the universities, especially the improvement of the performance in university scientific research. Thus, the organizational frame of scientific research is one of the elements in the management system which depend on the performance of scientific research in universities. As in any field of activity, the management of scientific research undertaken in universities refers to the human factor and assume the establishment of the positions and departments involved in university research as well as the links between them. The analysis of the current situation regarding the forms of management of university scientific research reflects a diversity of solutions. In this study, the authors propose an analysis of the current research entities in universities.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , The development strategy for a sustenable agricultural exploatation from Bacau county(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Talambă, ȘtefanThe study of zoning agricultural production envisaged allocation of agricultural production area, agricultural production in the future development orientation, creating economic development model of agriculture by the year 1990, finally aiming at optimizing the structure of agricultural production through a zonal specialization in crop production and livestock production. However, to achieve this goal were established and investments in irrigation facilities - 31,000 ha in the execution of land improvement works to combat excess irrigation and soil moisture and in the left side of Siret valley were left to carry the works to combat soil erosion. Of course, in the current (dis) organization of agricultural production is not a matter distribution in the territory, however, established production areas in the study represents an important tool for those practicing in the field of agriculture, both at the micro level (farm ) but especially to those who are engaged in developing strategies Bacau county's agriculture.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , The assurance of security of electronic voting through the use of secrets sharing schemes and benaloh electronic voting scheme(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Spiridonică, Alexandru-Mihnea; Pîslaru, MariusInformation security, in the context of using computers to perform electronic operations, electronic voting, electronic voting, electronic payment, electronic auctions, taken on major importance. There is only one way to ensure information security in such situations, through implementation of a proper software. Mainly, such a software is based directly on cryptographic primitives. In this paper we will make a general description of secrets sharing schemes and then we will concentrate at one of the most important electronic vote scheme, namely Benaloh scheme based on homomorphic secrets compose. The schemes are presented in a uniform manner, in order to highlight the differences between then. The operation mode of the schemes that assure a protection and a good functioning of the electronic voting is materialized through the exemplification of implementation of the Benaloh electronic voting scheme.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , A software application for managing and optimization of industrial processes through the use of statistical process control(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Spiridonică, Alexandru-Mihnea; Doloca, Adrian; Ciobanu, Romeo-CristianThe main goal of most organizations, no matter of their nature, object or size, is to be competitive as possible on the market, a crucial factor in ensuring a long operating duration. Managing and providing a better view competitiveness can not be given unless we use some statistic models. This models’ variables follow closely each step of the process. If in the past years the issue of the control managing of a process wasn’t seriously taken into consideration, today more things like more pretentious customers or the growth of the competitiveness level on the products and logistics market, made almost all companies to hire people, especially for the control of the quality. They have to check not only the final products but also the intermediate stages of the process. The aim of this paper is to offer a very useful alternative to the quality control of some services and processes using a unitary software application meant to help many specialists in quality checking field.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , European management practices for sustainable agriculture(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Robu, Edinel; Neculăiasa, Vasile; Robu, Brîndușa; Macoveanu, MateiThe impact on agriculture is arising from unintended adverse effects of herbicide use on plant life, and the resistance of plants to herbicides has become a global problem. The current approach is to limit the use of herbicides and pesticides in agriculture by integrated pollution prevention and control directive. Over the past two decades, tolerance to specific herbicides has been introduced intentionally, as a novel trait into a number of crop species to provide farmers with the additional means to control weeds without damaging their crops. In recent years, biotechnology has been used in the development of other herbicide tolerant crops. The practices for sustainable agriculture are essential, and it is recommended the promotion and maintenance of careful management practices for farmers. There are a number of beneficial management practices (BMPs) which agricultural producers can incorporate into their farming practices to decrease their impact on environment. These BMPs can be placed into four management sectors: soil and land management, livestock management, crop management, and nutrient management. This paper states the current European management practices used for achieving the sustainable agriculture concept and that can be applied in Romania too.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Researchers concerning the dynamic of the content of NaCl at the semimanufactured poultry products(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Radu, Steluța; Chiran, Aurel; Ciurea, Ion-Valeriu; Gîndu, Elena; Drobotă, Benedicta; Jităreanu, Andy-FelixThe research method used for obtaining some functional poultry aliments will be made of: identification of sources for raw materials and additional, which can offer the quality of functional aliments for finite poultry products, determination of sensorial, physics and chemistry, micro-biological and nutritive characteristics, making of new technological recipes which should contain nutritive elements with a determinative role in controlling the human metabolism, testing the new products on variable periods of time, at refrigeration, in order to be stored and kept in proper conditions, testing the recipes from a sensorial point of view by comparing with the qualitative standards valid for the presented qualitative characteristics and watching of qualitative losses according to the storage conditions of products stored by freezing, analyze and their interpretation. In order to measure and evaluate the qualitative characteristics of raw materials and of finite products we will develop our own processes of testing in research activity. In this study we are watching also, the influenced of NaCl at the semimanufactured poultry products by freezing, defrosting of products and by cooking it.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Phytotherapy and apitherapy in attention of the present day teacher of biology(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Petruța, Gabriela-PaulaThe role of medicinal plants and apicultural products (honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis) for the cure of various disorders it has been known since ancient times. In our days, alongside of other biotherapies, phytotherapy and apitherapy are maintaining their importance. In comparison with chemotherapeutical drugs, which can lead to habituation or cause another disorder, phytotherapy and apitherapy constitute natural remedies for treatment, with no adverse or harmful secondary effects, and which do not involve habituation. The analysis of the existing content of the optional discipline “Education for health”, elaborated for 1st to 12th grades shows that there are not included themes related to the use of medicinal plants and apicultural products for therapy. In this context, we consider that for promoting health and imprinting a healthy life style is needed to inform the pupils about the existence of possibilities for curing disorders, others than those offered by the modern medicine. The aim of this paper is to show how the biology teacher can transmit primary knowledge of phytotherapy and apitherapy within the school activities, during the 9th grade, in the same time with notions of angiosperms plants, during the 11th grade, and primary notions of hygiene and pathology specific to various systems in human body, by elaborating personal optional disciplines, and also within extracurricular activities.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Methodological aspects of the use of interactive methods within the seminar activities(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Petruța, Gabriela-PaulaWithin seminar activities, the students clarify, complete and systematize for themselves the knowledges transmitted by the professor during the lecture or aquired by individual study, apply these knowledges, investigates and utilizes the information in a more or less creative manner, in new situations. In order to increase the atractivity and efficiency of the seminar activities, for helping the students to obtain an as good as possible education efficiency, the teacher must use a diversified and flexible methodological register, which should include both traditional and modern methods. Nowadays, is thought that the active and interactive learning, specific to the modern instruction, is favouring the formation of intelectual and action abilities, which are preserved during the entire life. Among the modern methods, the use of interactive methods within the seminars favors the realization of an interactive learning, stimulates cooperation, colaboration and communication between students, stimulate the productive thinking, critical thinking, divergent thinking and creativity of the students, contributing to the development of all types of intelligence, to the stimulation of all learning styles (visual, auditory, and practical style of learning), to the development of personal responsibility in fulfiling the assumed tasks, tolerance for the opinion of all the participants to the activity, mutual respect, etc. In this paper we analyze the possibility of using the following interactive techniques: Graphic Organizer, Venn Diagram, Clustering (Cluster diagram or clustering diagram), Thinking – Working in groups of four – Communication (ThinkPair-Share) within the seminar activities carried out at the Didactics of biological sciences.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Agritourism and its forms(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Petroman, Ion; Petroman, CorneliaThe term agritourism describes any type of activity based on the relation between agriculture and tourism and designates a concept over 100 years old, when city-dwellers visited their relatives or friends in the countryside in search of a more pleasant air and of quiet. This practice has become even more popular because of the following: when automobiles appeared and developed; when people were under the pressure of economic crises; when city-dwellers tried to escape war-developed stress; because of countryside nostalgic ones; due to the popularisation of agritourism activities. In the few decades since it has been practiced, agritourism – still in search of one’s own identity – has known several names (agrarian tourism, agricultural tourism, farm tourism, countryside tourism, and rural tourism) and definitions whose common element is the rural and that all tend to focus on those types of activities visitors practice in the rural area.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Making progress in school-to-work transition(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Oșvat, Claudia; Săveanu, Sorana; Săveanu, TominaAs a result of the focus group type meetings held both with academics and employers, on the one hand, and with students, on the other hand, we have developed a training program based on cooperative learning, which aims at increasing young people’s integration into the labor market and at meeting this market’s needs. The program is a complex one and is extended for the whole period of university training. The objectives of the program are: confirm the students’ career plans, applying theoretical knowledge in real situations through professional practice and strengthen the work-related skills. The proposed program has two components: one focusing on theoretical training (in the academic field, but also in the institutions where the practical activity is taking place) and one focusing on the practical training, both running in parallel. The program offers students the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills related to career objectives, to develop relational and communication abilities, problem solving abilities, to learn how work is organized and how people behave at work and to understand the different roles and interests of managers and employees. We intend with this program to foster the cooperation between the academic field and employers in order to establish more clearly the educational content according to the demands of the labor market.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Empirical study regarding the usage of the Monte Carlo method in the analysis of global risk(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Mironiuc, Marilena; Robu, Ioan-Bogdan; Robu, Mihaela-AlinaRisk is a natural component of the social and economic life, which originates from multiple causes and takes on extremely various shapes. In parallel with the progress of the process of globalization, with the promotion of the new technologies, with the increase of competitiveness on the capital market, we witnessed an unprecedented diversification of the risk and uncertainty situations in the business world. At the same time, numerous specialists in the field of finances, financial analysis, management, and applied statistics, have become concerned with drawing integrated risk analysis, monitoring and eliminating models. This paper aims at founding a mathematical model of analysis of the global risk of organizations, based on the study of the correlations established between a set of variables (economical-financial indicators) able to characterize the causes of the modifications occurred in the exploitation and financial activities of the organization, which may be perceived as symptoms of risks. This way, a useful instrument will be drawn for organizational management, for controlling risk dynamics, preventing and limiting the risk factors, and at the same time an indispensable instrument for the auditor, for obtaining audit proofs regarding the (non-)compliance with the principle of the continuity of the audited activities. The design of this model implies a study of the financial statements belonging to a sample made up of 80 enterprises quoted in the Stock Exchange of Bucharest. The model will be tested using a sensitivity analysis, through the Monte Carlo method. The methodology of the sensitivity analysis recommends formulating alternative scenarios, simulating the effects of the modification of certain critical variables in relation to the scenarios initially drawn, on the variation of the results of the company (global risk). In order to perform the regression analyses, the multiple correlations, and the simulation implied by the foundation of the model, the statistical instrument SPSS 15.0 and software Oracle Crystal Ball will be used.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Diversification and sustainability in romanian agriculture(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Mihai, CosticăNatural resources are the most important agricultural activity inputs. Often, their use and exploit determine the performance of farms. Market acts as a mobilizing factor in determining the structure of production. Farmer’s decision must take into account both market demand and capacity of natural resources to sustain quality production. Pursuit of sustainable agriculture requires special attention on use of natural resources for long term. The extent to which they are currently used mark the value of future production. Through diversification, the farmer has a double advantage: it made the unfavourable evolution of the housing market prices and quantities for certain agricultural products and preserve the quality of land resources favouring maintaining a winning spree on subsequent periods. In what position are Romanian farms and how they deal with this problem? We propose in this paper highlighting the main concerns and solutions to the farmers in Romania for sustainable development of their holdings. In this approach should be taken into account the main types of holdings and activities that have a major impact on the process of diversification.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Aspects concerning the characteristics and trends in production and processing milk in Romania(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Merce, Iuliana-Ioana; Milin, Ioana-Anda; Martin, Simona-Cristina; Sâmbotin, Dana; Marinău, CălinaMilk production in Romania`s agriculture occupies second place in importance after meat production in 2007 and represented 21% of animal production and 8% of agricultural production. Milk is a highly perishable product, so it is necessary along the production chain - processing - use to be a logistical system that functionally able to provide consumer desired products in the shortest time, as appropriate and the superior quality parameters. A key feature of milk and dairy sector in Romania is the use of small quantities of total production of milk by processing companies, only 21% of estimated production of milk being delivered for processing, the rest being for domestic consumption (41%) , feed consumption (12%), the producer sold through street markets and direct sales to consumers with low incomes (26%). In Romania, the privatization process in the dairy farms has resulted in their fragmentation. Thus, the private sector has become predominant: in 2002, owns 99% of the herd of cows and provide 98% of milk production, but it is represented mainly by small family farms. In all countries there are 1.2 million dairy farms, which is concentrated in a flock of 1.7 million heads. Average size of holding is 1.46 cows, the highest share (95%) being held by households with 1-2 heads. Farms that have over 100 head is only 0.01% of total and 84% belong to the former state sector.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Price distinguishing features the competitive environment agrifooud(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Matei Gherman, CorinaProgress, constantly changing economy and competition becomes more fierce market food products. Our study focuses on the following of two objectives: the content analysis of theoretical models and educational policies at national and international level regarding to the methodological competences and the identification of the specific categories of competences that will form the operational model. The paper consists of an ascertained research developed, since 2010. The content analysis of the theoretical models and educational policies emphasizes the number of specific themes of methodological competences. After applying of content analysis there are result the categories and subcategories of methodological competences: formulation of operational objectives, the selection of contents, the development of teaching strategies, the assessment design strategy, design teaching. The operational categories of competences were surveyed of expertise of a group of 30 specialists in the field of Educational Sciences from university education. There are present the results of semi structured interview for capturing the characteristic elements that define the operational model to develop methodological skills at beginning teachers. This study provides both theoretical results, through building of the operational model at general level, but statistical data about the types of methodological competences involved at beginning teachers training at particular level.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Unconventional pedagogical methods: neurolinguistic programming(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Lepădatu, Ioana; Andronic, Anca-OlgaIn NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), is based on the assumption that the human being is constantly receiving information through senses (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) and one of those channels that tend to be preferred at a time. Identifying the dominant sensory channel is through verbal expression and eye movements. Each type corresponds to certain sensory verbal expressions, eye movements, postures and rhythms of breath. Determine the dominant sense of preference for a channel in sensory perception and processing. Using these preferences in learning has a significant effect on academic achievement and on students' self-confidence. Trainers and teachers teach, usually in styles that have managed to get good school performance when they were students. Education experts agree that people learn in different ways and have different learning styles. From this statement, the thesis aims to acknowledge the need to differentiate between styles of teaching according to learning styles. Channel "privileged" communication is the basis of our system of representation of reality. This channel can be identified either by the vocabulary used psycholinguistic analysis, but through careful observation of eye movements. Psycholinguistic analysis methods are used to test vocabulary and "sensory perception" and an evaluation questionnaire. In the determination of samples, we chose 50 subjects aged between 25 and 35, students at the Faculty of Psychology Education in Brasov. Research results will show that to obtain rapid and dramatic changes in behavior, with an adapted mode of action, without having to refer complicated and especially making long and expensive therapies economy, energy and time.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , “Once upon a time…" using fairy tales for didactic purposes(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi, 2010) Lepădatu, IoanaAll psychological functions are developed in a social context. Learning strategies to facilitate a more effective adaptation to different situations and providing the subject the necessary data to make informed decisions is a priority. With the topic of our paper, we tried to stimulate an interest in fantasy and happy endings in our lives, the components of positive thinking to facilitate the subjects’ successful actions in the future. We, teacher and students together, tried to rediscover the role the fairy tale plays for all ages and in all situations. We have focused our attention on fantasy, intuition and activation of the resolute individual potential, approaching some unconventional methods, i.e. using stories, metaphors, fairy tales and myths as methods that could be used by fantasy, making everything possible, being in contrast to rational models. The methods used in our research included tests for identifying the subjects’ level of creativity, the classical test the “Johary’s Window” applied during the pre-trial and post-experimental stages and fairy tales or stories. The fairy tale was used as a communication tool, a projective personality test, stimulation of individual and group creativity and even as a therapeutic tool, proving to be an excellent teaching method.
