The research has an ascertaining character, proposing as objectives: establishing the initial development level of 10 students, with special educational needs, individually integrated in schools with agronomic profile, on specific fields: psychomotor field, communication and language field and social-affective field (social-affective maturation); establishing the level of final development of the 10 students with special educational needs integrated individually in schools with agronomic profile, on specific areas of development; formulating suggestions regarding the increase of the effectiveness of the educational support programs, granted to the students with special educational needs integrated in schools with agronomic profile, through the educational support program. The research aimed at analyzing the individual path of each child included in the support program and evaluating changes in skills acquired during the school year, following the provision of educational support, compared to the level established by the initial assessment. Taking into account the results of the final assessment we designed the main solutions that can be applied for the integration of students with special needs in schools with an agronomic profile.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Growth performance and egg characteristics of some phenotypes of quail (Coturnix sp.) raised in the Sudano-Guinean zone of Cameroon(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Djitie Kouatcho, F.; Mamoudou, S.; Mweugang, N.; Mekuiko Watsop, H.; Kepawo, S.; Radu Rusu, Răzvan-Mihail; Usturoi, Marius-GiorgiThe present study was conducted from July to August 2020 in the city of Ngaoundéré, Cameroun, to evaluate the effect of quail phenotype on the growth performance and egg characteristics. For this purpose, 144 quail (48 birds) of each of the white, grey and spotted white phenotypes were used. For this suppose 144 quail (48 animals for each of the white, grey and spotted white phenotypes) aged 4 weeks and with an average live weight of 65.18 ±12.34g were used. For each phenotype, birds were grouped into 3 groups of 16 (8 males and 8 females). Water and feed were served ad libitum during the 4 weeks of the trial. 15 eggs per phenotype were randomly selected and individually broken, from which internal parameters were assessed. Data were collected on growth performance, carcass characteristics and some reproductive traits. Main results show that independently of individuals’ sex, parameters like feed intake, live weight and weight gain were significantly lowest in the white phenotype (472.32 ± 37.66 and 179.64 ± 14.24 g respectively) compared to the spotted white and grey phenotypes which were otherwise comparable. Carcass yield was not significantly affected by phenotype, regardless of sex. However, the highest carcass yields were recorded in the grey phenotype compared to spotted white phenotype which had lowest values. Although egg weight and volume were not significantly affected by phenotype, shape index was significantly influenced and the highest values were found in white quails (78.82±2.8%). Spotted white quails had thicker eggshells than the other phenotypes. The spotted white quails laid eggs with a better Haugh index and the grey quails with a higher edible matter content (albumen & yolk). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the spotted white quail phenotype is more suitable for growth as il showed the best weight gain and shell quality, although grey quails showed high proportions of edible matterlistelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Research on the influence of color variety on body weight of the Karakul of Botoșani lambs(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Crîșmaru, A.; Nechifor, I.; Florea, A.M.; Pascal, ConstantinResearch on the influence of color variety on growth intensity and body weight of the lambs of Karakul de Botoșani breed was carried out by determining their body weight from birth, after identifying the products. The assessment of the influence of the color variety of Karakul de Botoșani products on their body weight was made at birth, at 30 days, at 90 days and 180 days. For the statistical processing of the study data obtained as a result of the assessment of body weight, the Microsoft Excel program was used which allowed planning, collection, access, preparation, data management and presentation of results and version 26 of IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software. Continuous variables were analyzed for normality and then expressed by mean ± standard deviation, minimum and maximum (Popa M, 2008). The Student's t test (when comparing 2 groups) and the ANOVA One-Way method (for multiple groups) were used to compare the averages of the parameters between groups. A value of statistical significance coefficient p <0.05 was considered significant. In order to highlight the results obtained regarding the body weight of Karakul de Botoșani products, they were analyzed both from the point of view of the color variety of which they are part but also from the point of view of their sex. Following the research on the influence of color variety on the body weight of young sheep of the Karakul de Botoșani breed, the results obtained indicated a statistically significant link between the body weight of the products and the color variety of which they are part. The data obtained indicated higher average body weights in the batches with products of the black varieties (5.35 kg at calving, 13.30 kg at 30 days, 28.40 kg at 90 days and 37.90 kg at 180 days) compared to those obtained from batches of white varieties (4.23 kg at calving, 9.80 kg at 30 days, 17.10 kg at 90 days and 25.80 kg at 180 days).listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Efficiency of probiotics in carp (Cyprinus carpio) growth in the aquaculture recirculation system(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Savin, V.; Cristea, V.; Mocanu, E.; Dima, F.; Popa, M.D.; Patriche, N.This study evaluated the effects of probiotics on feed intake, growth performance, and the biochemical composition of carp meat. For this purpose, 200 carp specimens with an average weight of 20 ± 0.03 g were randomly divided into 4 groups: 3 experimental and one control. The fish were fed twice a day with 0; 80; 160 and 200 mg probiotic / kg feed for 50 days. The probiotic used in this experiment consisted of a complex of bacteria (Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus). The results indicated an improvement in growth factors (individual growth rate, feed conversion factor, specific growth rate, daily growth rate) in the case of probiotic administration, compared to the control (P <0.05). The highest body weight gained was obtained in variant V2 (26.12 g), 8% higher than in V1, 5% than in V3 and 30% higher than in the control variant. The content of crude protein, lipids, moisture and ash in fish meat had significant differences (P <0.05) at the end of the experiment, compared to the initial values. The proteins in the feed were much better recovered in the case of groups fed probiotic diets, the protein efficiency coefficient (PER) and the protein utilization efficiency (PUE) having higher values than in the control variant (P <0.05). Analyzing the results obtained, it can be stated that probiotics are an effective alternative to growth promoters used in many fish farms.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Dynamic analysis of the offer for spa tourism in Bacău county in the period 2011-2020(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Simeanu, Cristina; Avarvarei, Bogdan-Vlad; Simeanu, Daniel; Păsărin, BenoneAnalysing the dynamics of the existing tourist accommodation capacity in Slănic Moldova resort, in the period 2011-2020, it was found that it increased in 2020 by 16.91%; overall, the average level of existing accommodation capacity in Slănic Moldova registered 1186.5 places, with an absolute average increase of 61.77 places and a relative increase of 5.4%. In Târgu Ocna resort, the same analysis shows that in this case to the existing accommodation capacity increased at the end of the analysed period by 156.91%. Overall, the average level of accommodation capacity existing in Târgu Ocna resort registered 483 places, with an absolute average increase of 42.88 places and a relative increase of 11%. The analysis of the dynamics of the accommodation capacity in operation in Slănic Moldova resort found that in 2020 it was 55.28% higher than in 2011; overall, the average level of accommodation capacity in operation in Slănic Moldova resort registered 321581 places-days/year, with an absolute average increase of 12499 places-days/year and a relative increase of 5%. In the resort of Târgu Ocna there was an increase in the accommodation capacity in operation during the analysed period by 76.12%. Overall, the average level of accommodation capacity in operation in Târgu Ocna resort registered 149,207 places days/year, with an absolute average increase of 7681.55 places-days/year, respectively a relative increase of 6.4%.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Conformity of lavender flowers and sunflower on pesticide residues for organic beekeeping(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Cebotari, V.; Buzu, I.The purpose of this scientific paper was to investigate the conformity of lavender and sunflower flowers in industrial agricultural fields, on the content of pesticide residues, for the practice of organic beekeeping. Scientific research was conducted in the Beekeeping Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova. In order to assess the conformity of honey flowers, regarding the content of pesticide residues, in order to practice organic beekeeping, lavender flowers (Lavandula angustifolia) and sunflower (Helianthus annuus) collected from industrial agricultural fields were researched. The results of the research showed that the site (field) with flowering lavender, researched by us, is compliant, in terms of pesticide residue content in the flowers of this etheric crop, and can be used for beekeeping and obtaining organic bee products, because neither in one of the flower samples tested did not detect any detectable residue concentrations of the 63 pesticides investigated. Based on this research we can predict that other lavender fields could be suitable for organic beekeeping, because the treatment of this etheric agricultural crop uses a small number of pesticides with low frequency of treatment. The site (field) with sunflower, researched by us, was heavily polluted with residues of some dangerous pesticides (Tiametoxam) in concentrations that exceed the MPL of EU norms by 82%.Therefore, the sunflower field is considered unsuitable for organic beekeeping and poses a danger of intoxication for both pollinators, especially honey bees and humans. Based on these, as well as other previous research, we can predict that other sunflower fields can be polluted with pesticide residues, being unsuitable for organic beekeeping, because in the treatment of this oily crop is often used a string of systemic pesticides.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Attempts to rear salmon fry in recirculating aquaculture systems(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Savin, V.; Mocanu, E.; Stroe, Maria-Desimira; Popa, M.D.; Savin, C.Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) is raised in aquaculture due to high consumer demand for fresh salmon and salmon semi-finished products. It is a healthy food due to its high content of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, being a good source of minerals and vitamins. Because salmon require special growing conditions, especially in terms of temperature, in our country there are no producers of this species. In this experiment we tried to rear, in a recirculating aquaculture system, Atlantic salmon fry to a weight of 6 g. The results of this study are encouraging regarding the growth of salmon in RAS. The weight gained and survival are comparable to those obtained in countries with experience in raising this species.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Capacity of Lemna minor for nitrogen bioaccumulation from wastewater of a recirculating aquaculture system(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Popa, M.D.; Mocanu, E.; Savin, V.; Dima, F.In order to capitalize on the nitrogen resulting from feed residues and detritus of fish reared in a recirculating system, the technological drainage water was inoculated, in 3 aquariums, with 50 plants belonging to the Lemna minor species. After 31 days, the amount of nitrogen (as nitrate, nitrite, ammonium and ammonia) in the water was quantified. The difference between the initial and final amount of nitrogen compounds is the degree of bioaccumulation of nitrogen in the tissues of Lemna minor. The average absorption reached the value of 70.88% nitrogen accumulated from the aquatic environment. Both the dry mass increased from 4.4 ± 0.1% to 5.1 ± 0.1% and the plant protein content from 39.1 ± 0.4% to 43.6 ± 0.3 %. The plant can be used successfully both to improve the aquatic environment and to transform nutrients from water (nitrogen) into compounds that can be reintroduced into the technological chain (proteins that can be used in fish feed).listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Nutritional value of some animal products included in the structure of breakfast(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Usturoi, Alexandru; Rațu, Roxana-Nicoleta; Usturoi, Marius-GiorgiThe establishment of a proper diet should be based on existing nutritional information on food labels and not on other unauthorized sources of information. The present study was performed on 4 groups of food products of animal origin that are frequently consumed at breakfast, namely: meat dishes (Salam de Sibiu, Salam de vară, Tobă, and Lebărvușt); cheeses (Emmental and Dalia cheese); acidic products (Sana and Kefir); other products (butter and eggs). For meat preparations, the analyzes performed showed energy levels 3.10-10.88% higher than those specified in the product standards, as well as deviations from the protein and fat contents. Exceedances of normal energy levels were also identified in the dairy products category, especially in cheeses (by 16.89-21.84%), but also in Kefir (by 6.83%) and butter (by 3.55%). ; only at Sana was determined a lower energy value by 0.42%. As for the studied eggs, they had less protein but more lipids, so their energy value was 4.9% higher. In products where salt is used in the manufacturing process, no levels higher than those declared were found. Our study concluded that food of animal origin found in the structure of breakfast has deviations from normal nutritional parameters, probably against the background of differences in the quality of raw materials used in production processes specific to each of themlistelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Research on the characteristics of wood used in tourist constructions and arrangements(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Leonte, C.; Leonte, D.; Fotea, L.In this paper we try to highlight the characteristics and conditions of use of wood in the construction of buildings and tourist facilities. Wood is an organic, vegetable material and has a wide range of uses in construction, from strength elements to furniture and decorative pieces. Tourism is considered a very important area in the sustainable development of each region, investments in this area being a priority of the community, thus forecasting an increase in the pressure exerted by tourism for the coming years. The economic importance of tourism is reflected by the permanent and significant increase of the contribution to the gross domestic product of Romania, estimating a tripling of the value from 2005 to 2026. Deforestation in Romania is an economic process that has manifested itself since ancient times, being one of the main resources of the populations that have developed in the current space of Romania. The investigations took into account the effects of the density provided to chicken broilers on meat production, in terms of the yield at slaughter, the weight of the anatomical portions in the carcass composition, and the internal organs’ weight. In this sense, three lots of experience were formed consisting of Ross-308 chickens and which were differentiated by the density applied to the popular: Lm = 19 cap./m2 (minimum welfare conditions); Lexp-1 = 17 cap./m2 (average conditions); Lexp-2 = 16 cap./m2 (superior conditions). The data obtained showed that the practice of low densities during the growth of the chicken broiler ensures the obtaining of heavier carcasses, with direct effects on the slaughter yield, which was higher by 0.67% than that of chickens raised in average conditions and by 1,43% of the pups who were provided with only minimum welfare conditions. In the carcasses of chicks raised in superior welfare conditions, a higher share of anatomical parts of commercial interest was registered (breast with 1.38-2.20%, thighs with 0.32-0.60%, and wings with 0.09 -0.26%), but also higher weights of the organs (pipettes with 0.76-2.26%, hearts with 2.50-4.92% and liver with 0.30-0.95%), compared to those raised in average or minimum conditions of well-being. In conclusion, it can be stated that the practice of a density of 16 cap./m2 for the Ross-308 hybrid (superior welfare conditions), positively influences both the slaughter yield and the weight of the cut parts of the carcasses and the weight of the internal organs.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Determining the current state of curl size improvement on Karakul of Botosani breed(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Nechifor, I.; Florea, A.M.; Crîșmaru, A.; Pascal, ConstantinThe research carried out had as main objective the evaluation of the current level at which the degree of improvement of the Karakul of Botosani lambs curl size is found. The biological material was represented by the lambs of the color varieties consolidated within the breed, respectively: black, grayish, brown, gray and pink. In order to obtain concrete results, the researches were performed on the generations of lambs resulting in lambing seasons from 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively. The working method applied in the evaluation of the character represented by the size of the curl was the one presented in the official technical norms, specified in Section 1.4 and 1.5 of the MADR Order no. 22 / 20.01.2006. The data obtained were subjected to a statistical processing process using the computer program S.A.V.C. (Statistics Analysis of Variance and Covariance 2003). To test the statistical significance of the differences between the averages of the values of the studied parameters as well as the correlations between them, the algorithms Analysis of Variables (ANOVA Single Factor) and the Pirson Correlation were used. Given the fact that in the classic varieties, represented by black and grayish lambs, the average score is less than 7% compared to the maximum level that can be granted for this character, we can say that the improvement is in an advanced process. Among the colored varieties analyzed, the average score has a higher value in gray (23.11 ± 0.11), lower in pink (21.50 ± 0.50) and intermediate in brown (21.83 ± 0.19). Based on the results obtained, it can be stated that the improvement is in progress, and by directing reproduction and applying a sustained selection program, a shift in the desired direction of the expression of this character can be induced, with a direct beneficial effect on improving genetic structure.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Research on the influence of density on the welfare condition and performance of chicken broilers(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Curea, C.D.; Radu Rusu, Răzvan-Mihail; Rațu, Roxana-Nicoleta; Usturoi, Alexandru; Usturoi, Marius-GiorgiThe research aimed at studying the productive response of the chicken broiler to European welfare standards and was carried out on a herd of 61.880 Ross-308 chickens divided into three batches of experience differentiated by the density applied to the popular: group Lm (19 heads/m2 minimum welfare conditions); Lexp-1 lot (17 heads/m2 - average welfare conditions); Lexp-2 lot (16 heads/m2- superior welfare conditions). The data obtained showed that puppies benefiting from higher welfare conditions (Lexp-2 group) had the highest body weight at slaughter (2.69% higher than those in the Lexp-1 group and 3,97% compared to those in the Lm group), the most convenient average daily consumption of compound feeds (5.77% lower than the chickens in the Lexp-1 group and 14.84% compared to the chickens in the Lm group) and feed conversion (8.77% lower than the Lexp-1 batch and 19.67% lower than the Lm batch), as well as the lowest mortality rate (0.19% lower than the Lexp-1 batch) and by 0.40% compared to Lm). On the other hand, the high salt content is linked to the deterioration of the consumer's health. For this reason, the amount of salt added in the manufacturing process of meat products must be maintained within the limits imposed by the in-force legislation. Nine products belonging in three food categories (bacon, baloney, and pork pastrami products) have been investigated in laboratory via Mohr method to identify and quantify the usage of sodium chloride. The inclusion level of sodium chloride in the first group (bacon) was between 2.2 g and 2.4 g, less than the maximum admitted inclusion level (AIL) (3g /100g product). The concentration detected in the baloney products was between 2.0 g and 2.7 g, lower than the AIL for this food category (3g /100 g). The inclusion level of sodium chloride in the third group of meat products (pork pastrami) was between 2.7 g and 2.8 g, less than the maximum admitted inclusion level (AIL) (3g /100g product). The activity of processing the Hypophthalmichthys nobilis specimens from Bârca acumulation (Iasi) was studied during a period of 3 years and revealed the fact that by processing the less valuable fish breed, there is registered a consistant profit. The fish paste, practically, increased the fish farm productivity by over 20% reaching 58.9% and it had a contribution of 28.9% to 49.5% to the total profit. By creating a brand for the farm's products, a new niche market has been reached and an unexpected profit was obtained during the winter, when the farm recorded only maintenance expenses.listelement.badge.dso-type Item , listelement.badge.access-status Open Access , Various dietary levels of inorganic vitamin d on internal and external physical quality parameters of laying hen eggs(“Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Life Sciences, Iaşi, 2022) Cornescu, G.M.; Vlaicu, P.A.; Oancea, A.; Untea, A.E.; Panaite, T.D.; Avram, O.The study investigated the effect of different dietary levels of inorganic vitamin D3 on the laying hens performances, internal and external physical parameters of eggs, instrumental color measurements and self-life. The experiment was conducted on 114 Lohmann Brown laying hens, (38 laying hens/group; 34 weeks age) with an average initial body of 1850 g for 8 weeks trial period. Three different levels of vitamin D3 inorganic form were taken into consideration: Diet 1 (Control, 2500 UI/kg premix), Diet 2 (3000 UI/kg premix) and Diet 3 (3200 UI/kg premix). All internal and external egg quality parameters were measured at the begging, after 4 and 8 experimental weeks, including instrumental color measurements. We also determined the self-life of eggs stored for 28 days at room temperature. The internal and external physical parameters measured during the experiment were: egg white and yolk pH, egg weight height, yolk color, Haugh unit, breaking shell strength, eggshell thickness, yolk height, yolk diameter, and yolk index. We observed significant differences for feed intake and feed conversion ratio in the first four experimental weeks. Diet 1 had the highest feed intake compared with diet 2 and diet 3. During the entire experimental period, diet 2 had constantly the lowest feed conversion ratio, compared to diet 1 and diet 3. At the end of the trial (8 weeks) diet 3 group presented eggs with significantly higher weight compared with diet 1 and diet 2. For egg quality parameters, a significant (P<0.05) eggshell thickness was noticed at diet 2 (0.42 mm) compared to diet 1 group (0.39mm) during the first 4 weeks of feeding, while during the 8 weeks of feeding no difference could be notice between groups (0.39 mm). The breaking shell strength was higher in diet 3 (5.21 kgf) and diet 2 (5.08 kgf) compared to diet 1 group (4.83kgf), without statistically significance during the first 4 weeks, with similar trend after 8 weeks of feeding. In total 28 Brahman Cross (BX) cattle with a body weight of 450 ± 30 kg with coefficient variation 8,65%. The experimental method was used in this study with Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and repeated seven times. Treatments at the study were P1: Placebo Solution, P2: Injection Se 4 ppm, P3: Injection of vitamin E 36 ppm, and P4: Injection of Se 5 ppm + vitamin E 36 ppm. Duration of transportation from Subang to Tasikmalaya were six hours. Data were analysed was with analysis of variance and orthogonal test. No statistical differences were found regarding the administration of Se and vitamin E to the body weight and physiological status. This might be indications that: a) administration of Se, vitamin E and their combination can preserve the physiological function of the beef cattle after transportation in their normal state as before the transportation occurred; or b) no stress experienced by the animals during the transportation
